carminepink asked: Hi Clair! Thanks so much for the disqus tip. I've been racking my brain on how to enable comments on my tumblr account, and was the biggest drawback from my choosing to blog here. Thanks again!

Because rumors say that delicious is getting...
People are looking for alternatives. But wait. Yahoo! PR says they’re not shutting it down after news got leaked. Instead, it sounds like they’re going to sell del.icio.us. At least, that’s what it says on this TechCrunch article on Yahoo’s move re: delicious. After seeing LiveJournal change over the years, I can’t just sit here and wait for Yahoo to finally...

Developing skills and discipline
So I’ve been learning how to bake stuff these days and I have to admit that I am having fun. While my baked goods are not perfect, the people who eat them are quite happy enough to have them. And I now prefer to study cookie recipes than to settle for something from the grocery. ~_~ If it’s a really difficult cookie to make, or if the ingredients are so expensive, I’d probably...
Cinnamon cookies
I made a batch of cinnamon cookies today based on this cookie recipe which is supposed to be a copycat of Mrs. Fields’ cinnamon cookies. I love how it tastes haha. I added more cinnamon though. Because I find our cinnamon powder a bit weak. Some of the cookies at the bottom-most rack in the oven were a bit burned though. But most of them turned out just fine. It’s so nice to learn...

On product development
Joining the bazaar a couple of weekends ago made me think about product development in general. You never really know which products will truly click with people unless you get to know your market better. It’s kinda hard to experiment considering your budget for materials and time. You might have a fair idea of which colors to use or what material suits your target market’s...

It was a busy day in Cubao X’s Holiday Twist Bazaar yesterday. All 3 piyo-piyo keychains were sold so it looks like I should make more of them ;) I hope everyone’s happy with the goods they got. And if you’re giving them to friends, I hope they’ll enjoy using them too.
The goods as displayed…

Blueberry creme tea + dinner with friends =
I met up with JM in RCBC earlier so we could have dinner with our friends, especially because Shane is leaving for Sg. So I really just had to go to the Zen Tea stall because I miss their creme teas. Milkyway and blueberry creme tea are nice treats.
So I ordered a large cup of blueberry creme tea. The guy who prepared it added strawberry creme on top of the blueberry creme tea. It was in...

It's almost 4am so I ended up thinking a lot.
I thought about being a generalist, instead of a specialist. I thought of how I find it necessary to recharge completely before I dive in to full time work again because I think it’s unfair if I start working without my heart being completely there.
So about being a generalist:
You could do a lot of things but not specialize in any of them. I think that the saying “Jack of all...

I know I promised to write a little review on Caffe Ti-amo, but I do think I rather fail at food blogging, because I can’t seem to help but take a bite out of everything before even taking photos. So here, I shall leave you my pseudo-review. And by pseudo-review, I mean a ton of photos plus my…
