Friends of Manila Zoo
This website is all about the Manila Zoo and what people are doing to help out. There was a recent incident that got people talking about the current state of the zoo. PETA wants it to be closed. As much as I could somehow understand their concern that animals are not in their natural environment, there’s still an opportunity for others to learn about biodiversity in zoos. And it’s not the same as just seeing a video or pictures on the internet or books. Tomorrow there’d be a meeting of people who are volunteering for the zoo. Adorable pug baby needs a forever home!
New pup at Pacific Pug Rescue: “Poppy is an adorable 8 month old Pug puppy who is new to our rescue program. She is a playful and friendly girl. Poppy is crate trained and doing well with her housetraining. Poppy will do well with a person or family who has the time and the ability to make a commitment to caring for an active pup. Poppy will be available for adoption after her vet exam.” More info here.
