For a reasonable fee, we will provide a venue and the materials necessary for individuals to let their creative juices flow and come out with their own design for a pair of plain canvas shoes. The deal is made even more enticing since the participants do not only leave with their own unique and customized pair of shoes; each also becomes a donor of another pair for the street children under the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod program.
In essence, the participants are not only covering their own feet, but another’s as well. A portion of the profit will also go to the Department of Orthopedics or the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the UP-PGH, to provide additional support for the services offered there.
(because its meiday’s third anniv, gazillion artists are making their own meiday artworks/posters and these will be exhibited on february 4 before the big partey. Electrolychee is currently drafting the final poster. for facebook invite purposes, the super awesome shine reyes made this insert-meiday-poster-here in less than ten minutes! haha)
