I know I’ve reblogged some of her songs before but finally she has Bandcamp! Please check out Noey’s music and preorder her songs. I think the official release date is tomorrow so watch out for them.
I love her voice, I love her songs. Her tumblr has some of the songs she has covered and even originals, iirc.
Sometimes, it’s not about waiting for life to offer you what it can.
Sometimes, it’s about taking what you have and doing what you can.
And then taking it further than you expected.
There are a lot of people who deserve thank yous for this and as much as I would like to list you all down, I might probably run out of space — or worse, I might forget someone and I can’t have that.
So to my lovelies, to my friends, to my family and all of you who have been waiting for something big to happen — this is one of the small things that make up that big thing. Thank you. I hope you enjoy the songs.
*Individual tracks will be downloadable at your price of choice (and yes, 0.00 USD counts as a price) midnight of 16 April 2012. The idea of getting paid for my music is great, but I -want- people to have the opportunity to enjoy my music.

“Settle Down,” Kimbra
Interesting sound, interesting video clip.
beautiful song. why don’t you check it out?
Earlier I was listening to D’Sound. Simone has a lovely voice. Some of my favorites include Tattooed on My Mind, Green Eyes, My Today, People are People, Ain’t Giving Up Just Giving In. And then I remembered how awesome Brand New Heavies sound! Never Stop is such a great song. Another fantastic song is You Are the Universe. It never fails to put me in a good mood. :)
What songs put you in a good mood?
A demo recording of our song, High Heels.

Russian Roulette
High HeelsFour three two one
You won’t see me coming
But you’ll know when I’m near
You might’ve heard about me
I’m the real deal
You won’t see me coming
But you’ll know when I’m near
Baby you will know me by the sound of my high heels
High heelsOh, woah, woah
Oh, woah, woah
Got my fire, got my fight, got my big ideals
Got my fight packed tight in my six inch high heelsI was born fully armed
With dangerous charm
Ready, aim, fire
With my killer smile
Dressed to the nines
Armed to the teeth
You never stood a chance against me in my high heels
High heelsOh, oh, woah
Oh, oh, woah
Got my fire, got my fight, got my big ideals
Got my fight packed tight in my six inch high heels
High heels
High heelsOh, oh, woah, woah woah
Oh, oh, woah
Oh, oh, woah
Got my fire, got my fight, got my big ideals
Got my fight packed tight in my six inch high heels
High heels
High heels
High heelsSet the night on fire in my high high heels
High high heels
High high heels—-
Click click bang bang! This is Russian Roulette, our all-girl grrrl rock band! ;)
We had a newspaper feature and photoshoot recently. My bandmates are Val, Tricia, Domz, Shai, Crissey, and Marj is our manager.
Interesting song. I wonder if I’d enjoy it better in a live setting.
Frost - One Hundred Years (Unofficial Video) (via mushroomsmokev2)
Why did I just listen to Frost’s music just now? ~_~ I should look for more Norwegian electronica. (Well, in general I think that the Scandinavian electronica I’ve sampled in Youtube are pretty good. Or at least, they’re the ones I appreciate the most aside from my usual Korean or Japanese electropop staples.)
And the video’s interesting too.
